Hostility in the workplace can be difficult to recognize for business owners. Many in management are too busy thinking about big picture, like expanding their business or what shareholders are thinking. Many ignore such “trivial” things as a psychologically unsafe workspace.
Bullying online and on campus: The Dalhousie University case
The recent controversy at the Dalhousie Faculty of Dentistry has been on my mind. I am not the only one either. Increasingly these situations bring with them a media whirlwind, a subsequent rush to judgement and then everyone moves on –without ever actually learning anything from the whole experience.
As such, I thought it would be worthwhile to try and organize my thoughts on the subject matter and share them with all of you.
